Hello everyone, Happy Friday to you all. Finally the weekend is upon us and I have another recipe for you that you can serve watching the super bowl or anytime really. All of the recipes that I posted this week are not just for the super bowl but any time really. Today I have a sweet and spicy cashew recipe for you and I hope you enjoy it as my husband and I do.
2 cups of cashews ( if you need more certainly you can double this recipe)
1/8 cup of sugar
2 tablespoons of butter melted
1/2 of a teaspoon of salt
1/8 of a teaspoon of ground red pepper, you can use crushed red pepper flake too if you want it hotter add more.
2 teaspoons of Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon of sugar
In a large bowl mix the nuts, spices and sugar together. Reserve 1/2 teaspoon of sugar you will see why later. Spray a cookie sheet or a baking dish with non stick cooking spray and preheat your oven to 350. arrange your seasoned nuts in a single layer and bake for about 8-12 minutes. If you are using roasted nuts dont bake them any longer than 8 minutes if they are not roasted or raw nuts go ahead and do the 10-12 minute time. Stir them twice during baking. When finished let them cool on some wax paper or parchment paper and sprinkle them with reserved 1/2 teaspoon of sugar. Mix until all the sugar is coated on the nuts and serve. This is a great snack anytime and for all of these recipes it doesn't have to be super bowl time to enjoy them. I hope you all enjoy and live, laugh and love
