Bluecheese Dip with a Kick

Hello everyone, I am back again today for another quick recipe. Now this one we are going to be using fresh blue cheese and depending on where you get it or what kind you get can be taxing on your wallet I know. However this is a once and blue moon thing (no pun intended lol) blue moon, the moon made of cheese and blue cheese hahah, OK anyway. So I am thinking if you shop around and find the most affordable blue cheese you can come across or even ask your deli person to cut you off a sliver of it its probably doable. Anyway here we go, its a quick and easy recipe for a blue cheese dip for those chicken tenders we made.

Ingredients:

4 ounces approx. of blue cheese
1/4 cup of buttermilk
1/4 cup of mayo
1/4 cup of sour cream
1 tablespoon of white vinegar
1 to 2 dashes of hot sauce of your choice
1 small crushed garlic clove or a teaspoon of minced garlic

Instructions:

In a medium to smallish bowl crumble up your blue cheese you can use a fork or your fingers I wont look I promise. Mix in your buttermilk, mayo, sour cream and all the other remaining ingredients. You can put in your mixer if you want a more smoother texture or leave it as is. Your done that is all that it takes to make this dipping sauce. You can put this on a baked potato or over steak would be yummy. You could also use this as a dipping sauce for the buffalo chicken tenders we made too.

I think this would work for a veggie dip as well. If you are having a super bowl party or just watching movies I hope this recipe works for you. Live, laugh and love everyone!

Just as a side note, today is my youngest daughter's birthday. She is 4 years old today and light of our lives. Its hard to believe that little doodle bug as I call her, is almost old enough to go to kindergarten. Didnt I just do this with my oldest daughter? Oh my has the time passed by so. So I want to wish my little Doodle bug otherwise known as Bailey Elizabeth a very happy birthday!
