Ingredients:
1 package of egg roll wraps
1/2 cup of diced pepperoni
1/2 cup of cooked hamburger
1 diced and sauteed green bell pepper
1 diced and sauteed onion
1/2 a cup of diced mushrooms
1 jar of Pizza sauce or if you are like me and make your own you will 2 cups
8 oz of shredded cheese of your choosing
1 teaspoon of Italian seasoning
1 clove garlic sauteed
Instructions:
Open up your package of egg roll wraps and cover with a damp paper towel. Heat up some vegetable oil in a deep skillet. You want to cover the bottom of pan with about an inch of the oil. While the oil is heating up mix up your cooked ingredients with the sauce and the cheese. After everything is mixed together its time to start assembling the egg rolls. Take your egg roll wrapper and dip your finger into some water, run your finger around the outter edge of the roll and with a small teaspoon fill the center. There is no fancy in rolling the egg roll, I tried to follow the directions on the package and all my filling leaked out into the oil. Not a pretty sight that is for sure. I make sure all the edge pieces are all tucked in so there is no leakage. After your rolls are put together slowly put them in the skillet. Limit about 3-4 rolls max. After about 3-4 minutes gently turn for another 3-4 minutes. Drain on a paper towel and serve with a dinner salad. You can make these more healthy by baking in them in the oven too. They are still just as good with a not a lot of mess, however its mighty tasty this way too, everything in moderation. Enjoy your weekend all and until Monday live, laugh and love.
