Cinnamon Banana Bread

Hello everyone, today I have a recipe for you that I am sure most of you make on a regular basis anyway. However for those of you that never made this or isnt good at baking this might be for you. Its simple and easy and very tasty. I hope you enjoy !

1 1/2 cups of flour
3 ripe bananas
1 cup of brown sugar
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
2 eggs beaten
1 stick of butter melted
1/2 teaspoon of baking powder

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees,
In a medium to large bowl mash up a very ripe banana. Then add in your eggs, and melted butter. Mix until the butter, bananas and eggs are blended. Add your flour, baking powder, cinnamon and brown sugar. Mix it all up and when all the dry ingredients are blended well with the wet ingredients you can add nuts here or you can leave it out. If I make this with nuts I usually use cashews. Use whatever you like. We just happen to like cashews. I spray a bread pan with non stick cooking spray. If you dont have a bread pan you can use whatever pan you do have. Put your batter into the pan and bake for about 20- 30 minutes I usually dont time it, I just check on it when I start to smell banana bread. Test it with a tooth pick if it comes out clean then your banana bread is ready.
Its quick and easy and a nice treat for a snack or good to have with breakfast with some yogurt. I hope you enjoy and live, laugh and love.

Quick Tip:

If your planning on making banana bread but you dont have any ripe bananas, put 3 bananas in the freezer once frozen they ripened really fast. You can even try putting the bananas in a brown bag in your fridge too. If you are putting the bananas in the freezer plan on making the banana bread the next day because you want to give the bananas a chance to thaw.
