Hello everyone, thank you all so much for stopping by and reading my posts. It means a lot to me. I don't consider myself an expert I just love cooking for my family. I hope that maybe we all can help each other and share ideas. Sorry this blog is coming so late, I had a blond moment and couldn't sign in for hours just to find out that I left out one letter in my email address that I have had for years by the way lol. So for tonight's blog I figured I will tell you how I make my garlic cheesy bread. I start off with an Italian bread or french bread will do whatever is on sale or if you make your own that will work here too. I make a garlic mayonnaise with the yolk of two large eggs and extra virgin olive oil and minced garlic. In your blender you take your yolks and garlic and slowly add your extra virgin olive oil aprox. a half cup. On a high setting on your blender slowly add your oil until it becomes the consistency of mayo. Slice your bread of your choosing in half and brush both pieces of bread with your mayo. From there you can add whatever cheeses you like. Along with some oregano. I like using a mixture of Parmesan and cheddar. You set your oven to about 375 (depending on your oven). And bake until the bread is golden brown and the cheeses are melted. I know this isn't a heart healthy recipe but in moderation you can fit this into your menu without busting your waistline. I hope you all enjoy this recipe as my family did. Make sure you all take a little time to live, laugh and love.
